Having fought off stiff competition from over 15,000 people to win the second series of The Apprentice, Michelle Dewberry started her first business, consultancy firm Michelle Dewberry Ltd (MDL) in 2006. Since then Michelle has written a book, 'Anything is Possible', as well as doing regular motivational speaking. She has recently started a new venture, online newsletter Chiconomise. Chiconomise carries with it the definition "the act of living stylishly for less" and the business model developed after finding inspiration during the recent credit crunch. The company offers exclusive deals on a range of products from retail to restaurants.
In this video interview talks about her experience of winning the Apprentice, the positives and the negatives, and the best piece of advice from Sir Alan Sugar. She also refers to the power of mentoring and how you can't put a price on it. The biggest challenge facing Michelle since the BBC show is to stay focused, and Dewberry offers her tips on how to meet these problems. The successful female entrepreneur also speaks about marketing strategies and her preference for guerrilla marketing and stunts.
