If you’re an early stage web or tech start-up (with or without funding), it’s worth checking out the Next Web Conference 2009. It’s giving 24 such companies the chance to present to a highly webbie and techie audience of 1,000, who will no doubt be laden with opportunities and advice for newbies. Entrepreneurs and investors aplenty!
It’s being held in Amsterdam from April 15-17. Flights and accommodation are not included in the prize, but the opportunities will hopefully be worth it once you’re out there. Plus, if you are chosen, there’ll be lots of free exposure and promotion for you a la The Next Web team.
The event is one of the largest European startup events, and is help in association with SUN Microsystems and their SUN Startup Essentials program.
Stewart Townsend, who’s part of the Next Web team, says, “In the past our conference proved to be a great launch pad for startups. For the startup rally only the best startups are selected and get the opportunity to boost their profile at no costs.”
