Smarta is proud to be an official partner for an invite-only
series of intimate entrepreneurial talks titled 'One Big Idea' at
London's top private business members' club One Alfred Place - and
guess what? We're inviting you to be our free guests!
First up this week, on Tuesday 26th, is Luke Johnson, chairman of Channel 4, former CEO of Pizza Express and columnist for the FT.
Luke will be looking back at his numerous achievements, the challenges he's faced and why, as a silver entrepreneur approaching his 50s, he feels he's got plenty of business left ahead of him.
The talk will kick off at the stylish One Alfred Place at 6.30pm with a glass of wine courtesy of sponsors Microsoft before Luke takes to the floor at 7pm. He'll speak for approximately 45 minutes and take questions to be followed by an hour of informal networking with more vino and canapés.
All attendees are invited to then stay for dinner in the club (at their own expense) with Luke to continue networking.
The event is strictly invite-only and limited to just 40 attendees to ensure an intimate setting for quality entrepreneurial networking.
Smarta will be filming the event and has 15 tickets to give away on a first-come-first-served basis. If you'd like to attend, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please only apply for a ticket if you know you can definitely attend.
In addition, The Guardian will be covering the event exclusively and are looking for entrepreneurs over 50 to feature in their write-up. If that's you and you'd welcome some free PR, be sure to let us know in your email.
