Imagine, if you will, a conference without the awkward bits. No boring, pre-prescribed seminars; no listening to dull speakers droning on and on; no jerky question and answer sessions – and no shoddily put together PowerPoint presentations.
The Shine ‘unconference’ for social entrepreneurs gives attendees the power to set their own schedule, allowing them to suggest ideas for sessions and engage in a dialogue during seminars, rather than just listening to someone speak.
We attended the conference last year, and reported it was varied, informative, and organised to solve real problems and create real opportunities.
