10-15 seconds: Who are your competitors?
Our major competitor is Physiotools - they are the market leader and are used by the NHS. They have been around since the 1980s. It's time for a shake up!
15-20 seconds: What's your USP?
We're 100% online, allowing access from anywhere. We're simple to use (no need to be a brain surgeon). And we're subscription based (no need to pay lots of money up front).
20-25 seconds: How have you funded it so far?
Privately funded - however we're looking into additional funding at this point.
25-30 seconds: What were you doing before?
Treating my own patients locally with their various injuries.
30-35 seconds: Where did the idea come from?
Through my own frustration of having very few options to create 'hand outs' for my patients. All the software packages out there were dated, overpriced and difficult to use.
35-40 seconds: What's the smartest thing you've done so far?
Getting involved on social networking platforms, like Twitter and Facebook. Twitter (I'm @rehabsoftware - say hi!) has allowed me access to a number of companies / individuals that I would not have had (easy) access to previously. Many useful meetings and opportunities have come from being active on Twitter (including this interview). Facebook has been great as well, and it was where my first sales came from - they cost me nothing.
40-45 seconds: What's the stupidest?
Not understanding the full implications of an 'agreement' I sign my name to. We live and learn hey!
45-50 seconds: If your business was a biscuit, what would it be?
Digestive. Simple with no need for extras.
50-55 seconds: Which idea are you a bit jealous of?
It's got to be cats eyes. Very very jealous.
55-60 seconds: Where are you going to be in 12 months' time?
Still be growing month on month. Be so good that over 50% of our business comes from referral.
