Top five Youtube virals this week

1. Charlie Chaplin's Time Traveller

Clever little video from Irish independent movie maker George Clarke. It's a little long-winded, but well worth a watch to see black and white footage of what appears to me a man, disguised as a woman, chatting into a mobile phone. Great publicity for Clarke's production outfit Yellow Fever too.

2. The MP3 experiment: Seven

I defy anyone not to chuckle at this little gem. The shot of a middle-aged shopper slow-dancing lovingly with a show really made my day. Following the success of 'silent disco' and 'flash mobbing',  the ImprovEverywhere group takes the science of crowds next level.

NB:  this idea is infinitely steal-able!

3. Apple is... awesome, incredible, wonderful, ergonomically horrible

Simply executed to great effect, this is a mashup from Apple's Back to the Mac event earlier this month. How many adjectives does it take for Steve Jobs to take to the podium. The answer: hundreds.

4. Cebu Pacific flights attendants dance to Lady Gaga

Stewardesses aboard Cebu Pacific have revolutionised dreary flight safety demonstrations! This novel approach to attracting and keeping the attention of passengers involves dancing the movements along to Lady Gaga's Just Dance. Check in and throw some shapes!

5. Ian Holloway on Wayne Rooney

Wayne Rooney, persona non grata, gets a hammering by Blackpool manager Ian Holloway. Great video, big viral, spot on.
