This campaign is aimed at any business looking to expand its operations, break into new markets, ramp up sales or become more lean and efficient. We have signed up six successful entrepreneurs across several industries and specialisms to lend their time and expertise to Smarta readers. These are the entrepreneurial veterans who have been there, done it, and want to share their knowledge with you - the new wave of growing businesses.
A specially created section of the Smarta website will enable you to:
- ask the six top entrepreneurs advice on how to grow your business
- win an exclusive face-to-face mentoring session with one of our entrepreneurs
- access free advice from the Smarta community
- see your business profiled on Smarta
There is also the chance to win a technology makeover for your business worth £5,000. Brother and BT Business Direct have the know-how and the kit to turn your business into a technology powerhouse. This could be a huge boost for any business looking to revamp, update and streamline its business operations. To be in with a chance to win, help your fellow business owners by submitting your best piece of business advice in no more than 140 characters.
How will the Brother Business Ambitions campaign work?
Over 12 weeks, we will be answering your business questions and solving your problems. A different entrepreneur will take the reins every two weeks. At the end of each fortnight, the star question from that period will win an exclusive two-hour mentoring session with that entrepreneur.
Smarta founder Shaa Wasmund (pictured) is first up, taking your questions on social media, marketing and web strategy.
Next up will be technology and advertising advice from STRUQ founder Sam Barnett, followed by branding tips from Leon's John Vincent, then international expertise from Warren Bennett & David Hathiramani of A Suit That Fits.
Bulldog Natural Grooming boss Simon Duffy will be on hand to talk you through dealing with large suppliers, logistics and getting stocked in supermarkets, while Brad Burton, founder of 4Networking, will take your questions on anything from selling to personal development and, of course, networking tips.
From 4 January, we'll be hosting a series of interactive sessions for you to voice your business growth ambitions, concerns, queries and challenges. To get us started and to be one of the first people featured on the Business Ambitions section, why not send us - and Shaa Wasmund - a question now?
To ask Shaa's advice and be in with a chance of winning a face-to-face mentoring session, email your question right away to firstname.lastname@example.org
