Certainly, and as you might expect, Smarta chairman and former Conservative trade minister Sir Richard Needham, was quick to give us an exclusive on why he feels the outcome is the best interests of British business.
"A Conservative-Lib Dem government will be business-friendly. Government will have more people with first-hand experience of running their own business than the previous government, who really understand the needs of the UK's 4.3m business owners.
"What's more, this government will have a large enough majority to reduce the deficit and avoid unnecessary additional tax burdens on business, especially for SMEs and start-ups."
Smarta founder Shaa Wasmund, who spoke at last year's Conservative party conference, also gave her backing to the new government, saying:
"A Conservative-led government is the fairest given the results of the election and the best for business. Never again should we see a business minister who has never run a business. I hope this represents a landmark shift in business support in the UK and the start of an enterprise geared economy that puts small businesses at the heart of its revival."
We'll bring you more feedback from entrepreneurs, small businesses and business groups as the story developments throughout the week.
Let us know what you think and want you want from the new government and we'll be sure to deliver your message to the people that matter.
