We are a brother, sister and a friend start-up and we allow people to save money by using their social circle and social media networks.

20-25 seconds: How have you funded it so far?

So far we have been privately funded.

25-30 seconds: What were you doing before?

Restaurant PR, and toptable.com prior to that.

30-35 seconds: Where did the idea come from?

A drunken conversation on the back of a fag packet back in January this year.

35-40 seconds: What's the smartest thing you've done so far?

Having that drunken conversation about starting up Crowdity.

40-45 seconds: What's the stupidest?

Not doing it sooner!

45-50 seconds: If your business was a biscuit, what would it be?

Well, because we enable our users to avoid over-inflated prices on the high street, I would say we're a jammy dodger!!

50-55 seconds: Which idea are you a bit jealous of?

I think Spotify is great! I love the way they have taken on the music business and forced them to change the way they think about how they distribute their product.

55-60 seconds: Where are you going to be in 12 months' time?

We hope to have a presence in most major cities around the world - if it all goes according to plan!
