Twitter and Facebook are competition of sorts but importantly we quantify opinion and provide an independent platform as a home for these opinions.
15-20 seconds: What's your USP?
pownum makes it possible for organisations to engage in an open dialogue with the public in an unprecedented way. pownum is short for 'power in numbers'.
20-25 seconds: How have you funded it so far?
We have funded the development ourselves completely.
25-30 seconds: What were you doing before?
Working in consulting roles that gave us valuable experience to put to work in creating pownum.
30-35 seconds: Where did the idea come from?
Listening to people tell us that they lack a way to make their feelings - both good and bad - known about organisations.
35-40 seconds: What's the smartest thing you've done so far?
Getting sound legal advice before turning the idea into a reality. This helped us avoid what would have become serious problems.

Not starting pownum sooner.

Custard cream. The two biscuits either end represent the organisations and the people while the good stuff happens in between!
