Firstly, prove the concept in a major retailer. Then roll out MANFLU 'Hot or Shot' drink nationally followed by an innovative range of MANFLU products. We've succeeded in Sainsbury's, now it's game on.

10-15 seconds: Who are your competitors?

Granny's secret recipe works wonders. People with plenty of time or the inclination can get the sticky honey from the back of the cupboard, slice up a lemon, hunt for cloves, crush garlic, figure out where to get a 'touch' of ginger from and then measure out a drop of her 'secret' ingredient. Or they can get MANFLU 'Hot or Shot'. No fuss, no mess.

15-20 seconds: What's your USP?

We offer genuinely incremental profit opportunities for retailers by meeting a clearly defined, un-met consumer need for comfort, soothing and sympathy products.

20-25 seconds: How have you funded it so far?

My son's inheritance, what's left of it. Only joking! I've invested savings, bartered and called in favours. But the business will need outside investment to take it to the next level. I am talking to people now.

25-30 seconds: What were you doing before?

I've been in marketing and new product development for brands like Pot Noodle and Bacardi and helped other people build successful brands and businesses. Now it's my turn.

30-35 seconds: Where did the idea come from?

There was nothing quite like MANFLU on the market. The MANFLU 'HOT OR SHOT' drink offers the ideal combination of functional and emotional benefits.

Asked for help. I realised you can't do it all.
