1. Event: Inspiring Entrepreneurs: Question Time for Entrepreneurs

What is it? This is an opportunity to question some of Britain's top entrepreneurs on the issues faced when launching and growing a business in the current economic climate. It will discuss topics such as how to get more for less, how to manage growth and how to generate extra sales without spending a fortune on marketing. What is it? A workshop aimed at new and existing business owners who want to know more about the legal requirements of running a business. This is an opportunity to meet other entrepreneurs, and get involved in some valuable networking.

3. Event: Enterprise Academy Workshop: How to survive in business

Where: Salford, Greater Manchester, M5 4WT, 15 November

What is it? This session will focus on the fundamentals of setting up and running a business. The participants will be start-ups who are new to the details of business information - they will be looking for how they can progress their idea. The aim is to give participants a clear picture of what they need for a sustainable, successful business.

It will give an introduction to business plan writing - why you need one, what to include and how to change it for different audiences.

4. Event: Virgin Ctrl Shift

Where and when: The Hub Westminster, New Zealand House, 80 Haymarket, London SW1Y 4TE, 15th November

What is it: The culmination of an eight-week campaign aiming to galvanise the opinions of young entrepreneurs and enterprise experts. It's a call to action that will address the key challenges facing young entrepreneurs in Britain today.

This event will present the findings of the campaign and catch up with the three young pioneers who Virgin chose to front the movement. These fledgling entrepreneurs will also announce three winners, who'll receive a unique mentoring opportunity.

5. Event: Workshop ' Blogging for Business"

Where: Ashford, Kent, TN24 0LH, 17 November

What is it? A workshop for business owners who are setting up social media profiles. The session will provide guidance and ideas about the benefits of blogging, how to do it and what you should blog about. Attendees will also be given training videos to show them how they can set up their own self-hosted WordPress blog.

6. Event: The Pitch 2011 Grand Final

Where: Pacha Nightclub, London, SW1V 1JR

What is it? The four regional winners of The Pitch 2011 plus a wildcard contestant chosen by the public will pitch on the dance floor to a panel of experts including Sahar Hashemi, co-founder of Coffee Republic.

Attendees will play an interactive role in proceedings and will be able to vote to decide the winner of The Pitch 2011 People's Choice Award.  It's also a fantastic opportunity to network with other business owners.
