Rest easy, the good old fashioned British jolly isn't about to be outlawed - as was initially feared when drafts of the Bribery Act 2010 were originally presented earlier this year. The Ministry of Justice has reviewed the Act and while it hasn't made any changes, it has released guidance reassuring small businesses they aren't about to be dragged before the courts for entertaining clients.

The trend for tech start-ups to converge in the area round London's Old Street roundabout continues with VC firm Index Ventures announcing a new office in Scrutton Street yesterday. The Swiss firm has invested over 1.5bn Euros in businesses like Groupspaces, Lightbox and Soundcloud and after opening a San Francisco office just this January, its expansion Shoreditch side is more evidence of the allure of the 'Silicon Roundabout'.
