Despite all the economic doom and gloom, small businesses have rallied. 45% of small business owners are still focused on expanding their business, with one in five (21%) changing their business strategies specifically to help them successfully challenge larger competitors.
This detemination is fostering increased innovation. One fifth of those surveyed are now offering additional products to existing and prospective clientele and a further 37% are planning to expand their business into new areas over the coming year.
