Picpr is a specialist PR and photography agency that puts together the pictures and words to create the right image for businesses and personal brands.

5-10 seconds: What's the business model?

We provide clients with five different services including traditional PR, social media consultancy, direct marketing and photography. All the services interlink, particularly the fifth, which can support the other four throughout any campaign.

10-15 seconds: Who are your competitors?

There are a lot of PR and marketing agencies out there, but to my knowledge not one provides PR and photography as a complete package.

15-20 seconds: What's your USP?

For all our retained clients we provide photography every month at no extra cost. Everything we do is supported with brilliant imagery.

20-25 seconds: How have you funded it so far?

With £500 from my own wallet, and some help from a few friends.

25-30 seconds: What were you doing before?

I have been in the PR game for 10 years, both working in-house and on the agency side. My brother James, who has set up the company with me, has been a photojournalist for nearly seven years.

30-35 seconds: Where did the idea come from?

I was tired of journalists asking for better photography, and frustrated with clients not wanting to pay for a professional photographer to support the PR materials being created. So my brother and I thought, 'why not join forces?' and now we offer a complete package.

What's the smartest thing you've done so far?

Launching picpr.

40-45 seconds: What's the stupidest?

Not launching sooner.

45-50 seconds: If your business was a biscuit, what would it be?

We'd be a selection box, as there's something for everyone.

50-55 seconds: Which idea are you a bit jealous of?

The idea of time travel, a really good idea.

55-60 seconds: Where are you going to be in
12 months' time?

Working on some fantastic brands and doing some fantastic work. We'll be opening a London office as well as growing the Cheltenham office and looking at opportunities abroad.
