Apprentice review: Jade Nash is my hero of the week

For me this was one of the best episodes of the shows so far. It was classic Apprentice viewing and I was soon shouting at my TV out of frustration.

The task was to find top end, luxury, deals for a London deals website. A bit like a posh Groupon.

We saw Stephen the Snake take on the project manager role after begging to be saved last week and he went against Jade. I like Jade and her career background is suited perfectly to this challenge so I had high hopes for her.

Jade's team took the time to be strategic and worked out a plan before racing off while Stephen's bunch dived straight into London without any idea really. Thankfully Ricky managed to land some great deals with fancy restaurants.

As someone who enjoys sales I found watching the candidates trying at times - they were not prepared for meetings and failed to work a calculator for basic maths in one pitch. Big time cringe!

Jade's team were led to victory by a brilliant spa deal they agreed so we saw Stephen the snake back in the boardroom hot seat. Personally Stephen and Gabrielle were both weak so I was wishing for a double firing. This was granted and we see both waving goodbye to Lord Sugar.

Hero

Jade with her superstar spa deal. Without this they would have lost.

Villain

Stephen the Snake. Again. For being patronising, condescending and useless.
