Advice, networking, free drinks and fun were in
abundance at the second sold-out 'Smarta 100
Academy together with O2' event on Monday night.
Entrepreneurs crammed into London's One Alfred Place to discuss
funding options and hear the thoughts of established entrepreneurs
and funding experts.
The panel, which was chaired by Smarta founder Shaa Wasmund
and included Sam Barnett of Struq, Gem Misa of Righteous, Darren Westlake
of Crowdcube, Luke Hakes
from Octopus
Investments and Nick Howe, the regional enterprise manager for
NatWest, inspired the audience and shared ideas on how to raise
funding.
The 275 tickets for the event were snapped up fast, so for all
you who missed out, we filmed the night and have put together
a video of the highlights.

event titled, 'Knowing your numbers - how to stay on top of your
cashflow', will take place on the 20th of August and will once
again see top speakers join our panel. Including Naked Wines
founder and overall Smarta 100 winner from 2011, Rowan Gormley.
