What happens when you gather five top entrepreneurs in a
room, plus an excited audience buzzing with business ideas and
passion? You get the Smarta 100 Academy together with
O2.
Smarta took over London's One Alfred Place for our third Academy
event and there was business advice aplenty as our panel which
included Will King, founder of King of Shaves, Adam Baker, founder
of Blottr, the Retail Champion Clare Young and Business director at
O2 Ben Dowd spoke about how businesses can turn their customers
into fans.
After the panelists had been grilled for tips, the evening
descended into a networking frenzy as entrepreneurs made full use
of the free bar to share stories and make valuable connections to
help grow their businesses. But don't take our word for it, check
out the video of highlights of the night.
Make sure you don't miss out next time, register for our next
event for FREE now. Our next event, 'Doing well by doing good' will take place on 11
October and will see more brilliant entrepreneurs join our panel to
discuss how your business can do good - socially, ethically
and environmentally while still being 100% geared to making
profit. Our panel will includes Sophi Tranchell, founder of
Divine Chocolate, Sam Conniff, founder of Livity, former Smarta 100
winner Camille Johnson of Pink Ribbon lingerie, Peter Holbrook of
Social Enterprise UK and Stephanie Denamps, Think Big Programme
manager, O2 UK
