We all do it. We go into the New Year with every good intention to change our lives, diets, fitness and careers.
So why does it all fall apart so quickly? Well, here's how to create resolutions that actually stick, so we can make 2013 the best year yet!
What's the difference? Well here's the Oxford English dictionary's definition:
RESOLUTION > a firm decision to do or not to do something:
COMMITMENT > the state or quality of being dedicated to a cause or activity:

If it's a business goal, you need to be equally specific, simply wishing to 'Earn a £1,000,000 isn't going to make it happen, but setting yourself a specific goal of 'Increasing my profit by £5,000 a month by August' has a good chance … If you …
Without a plan of HOW you are going to achieve any of this, it will all be wishful thinking. I think it was Mr T from the A Team who once said "A promise is nothing but a comfort to a fool". Want to loose a stone by March, then you need a plan of how and where you are going to exercise and how you are going to change your eating habits. Want to increase your profits by £5,000 a month by August? You need a plan of how many new clients you need to do that and understand which part of your business is the most profitable so you can focus all your efforts on the right areas. It's not rocket science, we can all do it, but we've got to … Stop Talking Start Doing.
