5-10 seconds: What's the business model?

Innovative independent digital sales house, formed in Manchester by husband and wife duo. We work with market-leading technology partners and provide market reach to regional advertisers. 

10-15 seconds: Who are your competitors?

We're very unique in our exact offering, so our biggest competition is possibly non-digital advertising channels.

15-20 seconds: What's your USP?

We solely focus on advertisers outside London. Working with innovative and thought-leading media partner platforms, we are distinct in the market providing digital media solutions to help generate revenue for clients and partners.

20-25 seconds: How have you funded it so far?

Set-up funding for the first few months, was quite literally in-kind from family and via credit cards; we kept costs minimal by working at home! Thankfully we scaled quickly, moved into premises, employed staff, repaid the credit card, and have been self-sufficient ever since.

25-30 seconds: What were you doing before?

We have both worked in digital media in Manchester for a number of years, and for a number of agencies.

30-35 seconds: Where did the idea come from?

We set up Regital because we had a hunch that real time bidding was going to transform the advertising industry and enable performance, clarity and honesty for advertisers.

35-40 seconds: What's the smartest thing you've done so far?

Took the risk to partner with emerging platforms who offered something very different to the market.

40-45 seconds: What's the stupidest?

We should probably have got a bigger office earlier as we've moved five times in two years as we've grown...I have our removal firm on speed-dial!

45-50 seconds: If your business was a biscuit, what would it be?

Oreo. Multi-tiered yet simple, easy to replicate, but impossible to better.

50-55 seconds: Which idea are you a bit jealous of?

Google. They monetised information.

55-60 seconds: Where are you going to be in 12 months' time?

The next 12 months are extremely exciting as we launch a new product to market called Click2CallCentre. This product drives qualified inbound traffic through to call centres via adverts delivered by Regital onto Smartphone devices.
