0-5 seconds: Sum your business up in a sentence
DevaniSoft's mission is to create world-class innovative software products designed to make computer use easier, faster, and more secure for individuals and enterprises around the world.
5-10 seconds: What's the business model?
The business model is very simple. We sell our software. By delivering unique applications for smartphones, tablets, and PC's, we aim to offer these products through the Apple iOS and Google Play stores, as well as direct from our website at www.promptmenina.com
10-15 seconds: Who are your competitors?
There are of course many app providers out there, but we look to provide unique applications that distinguish our products from any other provider.
15-20 seconds: What's your USP?
Prompt Me Nina™ is the first of our consumer product applications that makes the process of logging in effortless by providing prompts to give the user a hint on both their user names and passwords. We are now expanding and developing this into a variety of platforms for IOS, PC and Mac.
Unlike password fillers who store your details, which can be unsecure, potentially unsafe and prone to hacking, we avoid you even having to disclose any of your passwords by providing you a memorable prompt selected by you for every site you add a password to. There is no need to worry about identity details being lost or stolen, as each prompt is a word that means something only to you. Furthermore all prompt hints can be backed up to your own dropbox, to have access anytime from anywhere to your device.
20-25 seconds: How have you funded it so far?
We had an initial seed funding investment from an internet entrepreneur but are now in discussions to raise further funding. We have had a great deal of interest from both UK and US Silicon Valley investors.
25-30 seconds: What were you doing before?
I am actually 14 and still at school so this is my first venture!
30-35 seconds: Where did the idea come from?
I came up with the idea for Prompt Me Nina after my father's Facebook account was hacked. He was forced to change passwords across every website he used after his account was compromised last summer, but when I realised how difficult it was for my father to remember dozens of new passwords I decided to create my own mobile app to help others with the same problem.
35-40 seconds: What's the smartest thing you've done so far?
Jumping into business to develop my own app was the smartest thing I have ever done. I have a number of new and unique ideas that I now want to introduce. I would never have been in a position to do this had I have not made that first step and really believed in myself that I could do it.
40-45 seconds: What's the stupidest?
Probably thinking that I could get it done in a few weeks. It has been a real education in delivering my first app, and I have learned so much. I am however now even more driven and really enjoy working in the business.
45-50 seconds: If your business was a biscuit, what would it be?
Oh, without question a heart-shaped Jammy Dodger. It's probably the most popular brand of biscuit for kids, but put them on a plate and even the adults will eat them - much like I would want my app to be sold for the all generations!
50-55 seconds: Which idea are you a bit jealous of?
I would like to have invented the internet! Sir Tim Berners-Lee changed our lives with the invention of the world wide web. It has changed the lives of the entire human race.
55-60 seconds: Where are you going to be in 12 months' time?
I will have finished and launched my Prompt Me Nina app on all the available operating systems and be well on the way to launching my new app ideas, and of course not forgetting the most important bit…turning a huge profit!
