Natural, nutritional canine biscuits, packed only with goodness, made using only human quality ingredients and Scottish seaweed.
The business model is to sell to select 'high end' shops and independent pet retailers, as well as our current preparations to sell online. B2B and B2C.
Other natural dog biscuit companies and supermarket own brand biscuits. Most supermarket biscuits contain 'meat and animal derivatives'' aka 'the nasty stuff'. Other canine biscuit company's use flour in their recipes. Our biscuits contain no meat and animal derivatives, and are completely flourless.
Our use of Hebridean Seaweed, and the fact that our range of treats are flourless; ideal for all dogs but particularly those with sensitive tummies.
I have self funded and have been grant funded for the R&D costs. I have been given business premises, full office facilities, access to enablement and great professional support at Entrepreneurial Spark, Glasgow through Lord William Haughey.
I was Head of Learning and Development in a large Civil Service Department.
My own two Springer Spaniels, Zola and Jake. Zola is the one with the sensitive tummy! I couldn't find any biscuit / treat suitable for them in larger stores and so I decided to make my own.
Set up PAWSitively Natural. Give up my job in the Civil Service. Challenge the individual who was bullying me at work. Apply to and become a part of Entrepreneurial Spark.
Not give up my job up earlier. Trust that the Civil Service would tackle bullying.
Well it would have to be a PAWSitively Natural nutritional canine biscuit. ( Humans can eat them too!!!)
I am not a jealous person but I envy the producers of Billy and Margot Dog Ice Cream. Not because of the product but because Deborah Meaden invested. She's a great dog lover and I would love her to see PAWSitively Natural.
In a number of UK 'high end' retailers, selected independents and preparing to enter the American market.
