Voting has been intense over the last week and there has been a change of leader at least twice in almost every single category. With just the weekend to go it’s still almost impossible to pick between the leaders - a testament to the strength of this year’s list.
Only the top business in each category will go forwards to judging day and be put in front of the elite judging panel for consideration for the title of ‘Business of the Year’ – along with the cool £10,000 cash prize - so at this stage every vote is crucial and every business needs your support.
The winner of the ‘Business of the Year’ award along with the category winners will be announced at the glitzy awards evening at RIBA, Portland Place in Central London – and by voting for your favourite business you could be there to watch them win.
Every single vote that goes into the awards also counts an entry into a prize drawwith ten pairs of tickets for the business awards on offer along with an iPad mini.
What’s even better is that while you can only vote for any company once you can vote once in each category – meaning you can have up to ten entries into the competition – so if you’ve not voted in every category get clicking now and improve your chances of winning!
The O2 Smarta 100 awards are the largest celebration of small business in the UK. Rather than looking at facts and figures, the 100 are chosen on shamelessly unscientific criteria – disruption of traditional marketplaces, engagement of customers and innovation of ideas.
The awards are now in their fifth year and this year’s winners are added to an elite list of companies that include Zoopla, Naked Wines, Kigu, Crowdcube, Funding Circle and Graze.com.
The deadline for votes is midnight, Monday 3rd November. You can cast your vote by going to this link.
