To grow local fitness sessions throughout the midlands, then the UK, and also host residential boot camps, which we’ve now launched.

British Military Fitness (BMF) for local sessions and No. 1 Boot Camp for residential boot camps.

15-20 seconds: What's your USP?

All of our instructors are military-trained AND qualified personal instructors. We do not deviate from this and we devise workouts based on the Instructors military training.

20-25 seconds: How have you funded it so far?

Redundancy money.

25-30 seconds: What were you doing before?

A corporate lawyer for a business owned by a venture capitalist that was sold in 2012.

30-35 seconds: Where did the idea come from?

A natural choice, given my partner and my son, are recruits with the Royal Marines and fitness fanatics. With his practical knowledge and my corporate skills, it is the perfect partnership.

35-40 seconds: What's the smartest thing you've done so far?

Hired good PR and website designers and ensured we have a strong corporate base.

40-45 seconds: What's the stupidest?

Tried to work with local councils!

45-50 seconds: If your business was a biscuit, what would it be?

Hob Nob - gritty, different and unique, and once you open the packet, you can’t stop eating them.

50-55 seconds: Which idea are you a bit jealous of?

BMF being the warm-up partner for the Wolf Run.

55-60 seconds: Where are you going to be in 12 months' time?

Running sessions throughout the midlands and Cotswolds, with a full programme of residential camps and known as the only genuine military boot camp.
