App of the Week: Buffer

What is it?

It lets you schedule your Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+ posts, meaning you can share that eureka moment across all platforms. You set the schedule, how often you want to post your content and what goes on which platform; buffer does the rest. Whether it’s on through their desktop or mobile app, it’s easy-to-use and means you can rest easy knowing your posts are schduled for the day. No more losing engagement while you're at work or out with friends!

Who is it for?

Everyone and anyone. It doesn’t matter if you are a business owner looking to exploit the potential of marketing your brand via social networks or you’re a blogger updating people with daily posts, Buffer allows you to control your accounts.

Having an online presence is vital and using this app has allowed us to control what we want to tell our audience. We've learnt that it's essential to interact with our audience as much as possible so scheduling and arranging posts enable us to focus on other tasks but keep driving engagement.

How will it improve my day-to-day? 

Scheduling and controlling your social media accounts will allow your brand to develop online. With apps like Buffer, you should get on top of marketing your brand online and it will help you in the long-run. 

Buffer will lift a weight off your shoulders and enable your social media accounts to flow while you're working on other projects. Interacting with customers and keeping them up-to-date is important so having an online presence should be top of the list.

It can help with your personal and social life too, as you decide when and what you want to ask through your social media accounts at a time that is convenient for everyone. 

Do I have to pay? 

For roughly £60 a year, you can have unlimited posts, share your content across 12 profiles and allow two members to do it so you can ask a friend if you're having problems.

However, it is free to sign up and you can schedule up to 8 tweets per day.
