App of the Week: Wunderlist

What is it?

Some people may opt for the traditional pen and paper to make to-do lists but with technology developing as we speak, it’s important for entrepreneurs to stay on top of their busy schedules. That’s where Wunderlist come in to save the day.

It takes planning the extra mile and allows you to stay in control of what you do on a daily basis. Whether it’s the weekly Tesco shop or a countdown to a holiday, Wunderlist provides all the tools to make your goals a reality.

Wunderlist is cloud-based which means you can access your lists from anywhere. Your account will sync across all of your devices so you could start via the web browser but continue on your iPhone or Android device, it’s as easy as that!

The options available make it easy to use. You can set due dates, add reminders, add notes and set weekly ones - if you’re one for a routine. Even better, you can share your lists with colleagues and friends.

Who is it for?

If you have a busy lifestyle you want to keep on a leash or you have goals that require motivation, Wunderlist is the one-stop-shop to complete tasks.

The fact you can plan anything and you can access your lists from just about any device makes this appealing to everyone. There’s plenty of task manager applications out their but Wunderlist have done its best to make the app as exciting as possible.

It’s design makes it look pretty slick too. It takes a matter of seconds to jot down tasks and it’s easy to stay on top of the to-do lists. As a student who loves a food shop and likes to stay on top of assignments, Wunderlist has been a huge help for me.

How will it improve my day-to-day?

Um, it is your day-to-day! Wunderlist helps you stay on top of tasks, helps you complete your goals and ensures your life is organised. In some ways, it’s similar to having your mum pester you to tidy your bedroom, but less pressure.

Seriously though, this app is a godsend and the number of tools it has available makes it stand out above its competitors. Wunderlist Pro allows you to add files like spreadsheets, delegate to-do lists and even give feedback on tasks.

You have the both of best worlds. You can use it for fun to make things a little bit easier but it’s also essential in business and could help you take your start-up to the next level.

Do I have to pay?

Wunderlist is completely free. This option allows you to do a host of things and even if it’s just to-do lists you require, then why haven’t you downloaded this app yet?

As mentioned, there’s also Wunderlist Pro which costs around 3.00 per month or £30.00 for the year. The little extras add a professional touch like assign to-dos, share files and create Unlimited Subtasks.

So what are you waiting for? Manage your life with Wunderlist!
