If you’ve ever been to a Smarta event (and if not, why not?) you’ll know that we get a great buzz out seeing a room full of people wanting to learn from the amazing experts we get to speak. This time however, it’s going to be a little different, with the event being more of a TV format – albeit with the same interactive questions and answers with the audience.
Daniel Ivery, Editor of the Smarta.com website, is taking the role of commentator for the Live Stream audience and will be feeding questions as they come in on twitter to the panel on stage.
“I’m looking forward to it” he said, “it’s going to be a great chance to reach out to people across the country and bring them the expert tips, advice and knowledge we’ve come to expect from the O2 Smarta 100 panels”.
“I am a little nervous about being on camera – even if it’s just my voice – but I think we’ve got a great line up of speakers and I can’t wait to learn from them about digital marketing, social media and properly utilising your customer database”
This is a new dynamic addition to the partnership between Smarta and O2, with the broadcast being beamed to computers around the UK through Telefónica’s head office in Madrid, Spain. It’s required some careful preparations and those who sign on to the Live Stream early enough might be able to catch a glimpse of the Smarta team setting up before the event begins.
