Smarta and O2 introduce their latest FREE event: Doing well by doing good. How to create a sustainable business that makes a difference

The event will be hosted by digital entrepreneur extraordinaire Shaa Wasmund, founder and CEO of Smarta, and author of bestselling book Stop talking and Start Doing. Not only that, but she has worked with the likes of Sir James Dyson and has even been voted one of the best-connected people in the UK by the IoD! Definitely not to be sniffed at.

On the panel we have a number of successful entrepreneurs who have all built their brand around the ideal of making a difference and who will be telling you all their inspirational stories and tips. More will be added to the line-up over the next couple of weeks, but we currently have some serious talent to whet your altruistic appetites.

So far we are excited to have Karen lynch, CEO of leading social enterprise and ethical UK water brand Belu that donates all its profits to charity WaterAid, helping improve access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation in some of the world’s poorest countries. A former Emap and Barclays Executive, her arrival at Belu saw her transform the company into one that was losing over £600,000 into a hugely profitable consumer brand.

We are also delighted to welcome Tamara Arbib, founder of Rebel kitchen, a producer of healthy, nutritious, chemical-free organic food that, by tackling unhealthy eating, aims to transform the way we approach food.
