This weekend provides another opportunity to consider franchising.
The National Franchise Exhibition takes place this Friday and Saturday (18 – 19 February) at the NEC, Birmingham. And, with a range of exhibitors and seminars, it’s a great opportunity to find out more about franchising and decide whether becoming a franchisee is right for you. You may, for example, have expertise in a particular industry, yet want the relative security of a ready-made brand with a proven track record to give your newly-formed limited company the best possible start. Or, perhaps you’re looking to take your career in a completely new direction? Many franchisors provide all the product and service training you need as part of their package, so entering a new sector as a franchisee is not as scary as going it totally alone.
The show offers opportunities to set yourself up in business in a range of sectors, from fast food to fitness, from home tutoring to home improvement and from property to personal development. It could also be a chance to get an early foothold in an emerging sector – have you thought about running your own VapeStore?
To help you get the most out of your visit to the National Franchise Exhibition, it’ll pay to do a bit of research into franchising in advance. We recently looked at what you need to know about becoming a franchisee. We also spoke to leading business author, Carl Reader about making a success of franchising. So, if you’re new to this type of business, these articles will give you valuable background information ahead of the show.
