One of the most popular personal tracking systems in the UK,
Buddi was invented by former Confused.com founder Sara Murray, who
says she managed to attract a list of 'impressive investors' such
as hedge fund manager Mark Hawtin and BAA and former Barclays and
BAA chairman Sir Nigel Rudd, thanks to the contacts she had
previously made in the City. The product is now used by more than
50 local councils in the UK, as well as police forces to track
victims of domestic or honour-based violence.
