Sole Creator was set up by Birmingham native Adam Duffy, who had
been customising trainers for years before he decided to cash in on
the new popularity for personal branding by launching a website
which allows consumers to create their own, personalised pair of
shoes. Customers can choose from a range of plain white trainers -
from Converse All Stars to generic plimsolls - and add text, images
- even photographs they've uploaded. The company's fast turnaround
time - typically 1-2 days - has lead to collaborations with other
fashion brands including ASOS and the brilliantly-monikered Kings
of Neon, as well as indie band Fall Out Boy.
