NuBeginnings

For a business that launched less than two years ago, and in the fiercely competitive weight-loss industry, NuBeginnings has made some impressive waves. It's received vast amounts of press in national newspapers and magazines and the next centre is already being planned in Egypt. Founder Victoria says it's the only weight-loss 'boot camp' that combines a programme of nutrition, exercise and hypnotherapy. NuBeginning's promise is an average weight-loss of 10 lbs a change in customers' relationship with food and themselves forever. The business receives more than 1,500 expressions of interest each week and attracts a global client base. The increased tourism to the town of Ilfacombe supports other local businesses, and NuBeginnings itself has created jobs for local workers. Victoria was awarded a Rural Development Voucher for her contribution to developing the area.
