Pins and Ribbons

Founded by former police officer Kerrie Murray, Pins and Ribbons started small, selling its customised notice boards to friends and later, on eBay. Now, though, the business has a burgeoning client list, including premium home furnishings brands Fenwicks and Fortum & Mason. All Pins and Ribbons furnishings are made using eco-friendly, locally-sourced products and traditional British manufactured fabrics, which means, says Murray, the business 'is really true to its "British" values'. And the business is also stringent about giving back to the community: Pins and Ribbons donates left-over fabrics to schools and community groups - 'nurturing the Pins and Ribbons workforce of the future', says Murray.
