online. Content producers can shift all of their tapes and hard
drives into a far more robust and collaborative space: they can
plan work schedules, set deadlines, and keep an eye on progress,
all remotely. And the system is built to hold terabytes of data,
future-proofing the venture as more users come on board. The firm
has raised £2.5m in start-up funding from a heavyweight team of
investors, from the ex COO of Endemol to the founder of AMV BBDO.
The service has been live for seven months and turnover is
increasing 20% month-on-month. The service is also adding value to
freelance video producers: by holding an Aframe license, they can
easily plug in to existing projects and pick up extra work.
