on your cab ride from registered taxi and private hire companies.
No more calling round local firms searching for the best deal - let
the best fare come to you. To date, Cabmania has secured savings of
up to 70% for its customers. And the service creates new custom for
the cab drivers too. Founder Golan Shay has devised a simple
business model for his start-up: Cabmania takes 10% of the fare.
The website launched in November 2010 and there are already 15,000
registered customers seeking quotes from the hundreds of featured
taxi firms. An app is in the offing to make booking on the go even
easier and Golan is currently on the hunt for investment to expand
further afield.
