Concept Cupboard
While there are a few players offering design and creative
services through crowdsourcing online, Concept Cupboard is a little
bit different. Founder Chris Dodson has opted to only use the best
young creative talent from the UK. This means no language barriers
and the opportunity to hire that creative at the end of the
project. All of the ideas submitted must be bespoke - not just
iterations of the same design (the norm on larger crowdsourcing
sites). Finally, businesses get the opportunity to see the draft
ideas/designs before they part with any money. This also means that
any creative submitting work is guaranteed to receive feedback and
can build up a portfolio in the pitching process. The site
currently generates 110,000 page views every month after just six
months trading and performance to date has smashed projections,
pulling in more than double the forecasted turnover.
