Curb
Anthony Ganjou launched Curb in 2008 with £5,000 of savings.
Three years on, it's a global media company with an £800,000
turnover and a client list including Unesco, HRH the Queen and
Barack Obama. So what is eco-advertising? Curb creates campaigns
out of ice, water, grass, sand, even bacteria. Its offshoot firms
include SeedPaper, which produces marketing materials that grow
into herbs, vegetables and fruit when planted, High Profile Media,
which creates giant campaigns in plots around airfields (so huge
they can be seen from space!), and a new kinetic division, which
aims to harness energy from dance floors and bicycles to charge
phones or power lights. All these initiatives are sustainable and
profit-making - unlikely bedfellows usually.
- Carving an eco niche in the marketing industry
- An impressive international client list
- Innovative use of natural materials to create show-stopping
campaigns
