Cuski International
The Cuski is a soft, lightweight cotton baby comforter.
Interestingly, it is the first comforter to help with the bonding
process between parent and child: the fabric picks up the mother's
scent and helps the baby to sleep. Plans are already in place to
add more innovative products to the Cuski line. Founder Suzanne
Cannizzo has already added an orthopaedic pillow to the range. And
the launch of the Cuskiboo, an antibacterial, organic bamboo
alternative comforter, has been a resounding success. It is the
first ever baby comforter to gain an NHS protocol in this country
for use within the NICU and maternity wards. As a result, Cuski has
been asked to supply sample bamboo incubater sheets by the Royal
Berkshire group of hospitals to help cut infection rates. Over the
past five years, Cuski has expanded into 30 countries. It is
stocked on Amazon and Kiddicare. And all this has been achieved
with just two full-time staff - founder Suzanne Cannizzo and her
mum.
