size year-on-year with margins at an impressive 50%. To achieve
profits of this scale, founder Cate Trotter has adopted a swathe of
technologies that cut costs and boost revenues. Google Calendar
keeps the guides updated with booking information, cash is
processed via Paypal, Hootsuite integrates and coordinates all the
social media output and reservations are made via their Squarespace
booking engine. Resources are carefully managed: rather then rent
an office, Trotter's team operates from a shared workspace in a
hotel. Freelancers are employed to cut down of tax obligations.
