Little Riot
Services like Skype have made keeping in touch over long
distances easier than ever but there's still a gap in the market
for a more personal method of communication. Pillow Talk aims to
fill that gap. It is a long distance transmitter, fashioned into a
ring, that allows lovers to listen to each other's heartbeat
through a fabric panel on their pillow. Due to hit the market in
January 2012, Pillow Talk will initially be marketed to
long-distance couples but also has applications in the parent/baby
arena. The consumer response to the invention has been phenomenal:
a video showcasing the benefits of the product has received 250,000
views. Founder Joanna Montgomery receives around 500 emails a week
clamouring for the product.
