Hamster buggy bags provide additional smart and functional storage space on most prams and buggies. Most importantly, unlike bags hung from the back of the buggy, Hamster Bags prevent them from tipping backwards. Inventor Lara Milanova came up with the idea last year and built the prototype with fabric, string and staples. A year on, her products (no longer containing staples!) are available in Mothercare and Kiddicare. The Hamster Bags are a funky way to carry extra bits and pieces on the go. And, when not in use, they fold away into their own little pouches. The company started trading in November 2010 and has been bootstrapped from inception: Milanova designed her own website and does all her own marketing.
