Quadcrate
Imagine you ran a farm that reared sheep, Blue Faced Leicesters,
say. You want to return a sheep to the flock (it's been recovering
from an injury back at the farm). How do you do this quickly,
easily, in a way that totally safe for said sheep? Quadcrate
founder William Allingham has the answer. He's designed a series of
attachments - from cages to wire tensioneers - to make doing odd
jobs on a farm that much easier. They lock onto the back of your
quad bike or other all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and allow you to
transport small consignments without excess drag. Allingham owns
the patent on the technology in the UK, Europe, US, Australia and
New Zealand, where he's already set up a license agreement with an
ATV accessories firm. Back on home soil, Allingham has just secured
a new manufacturer to ramp up output and bring costs down. This,
along with some clever marketing - the website features a series of
videos showing Quadcrate products in action - should result in 100%
growth this year.
