Really Simple Ideas

SnoozeShade only launched in 2010 but the business has already become a global phenomenon with distributors in Australia, Hong Kong, South Africa, Dubai, Europe, the US, Russia and Norway. On home soil, Cara Sayers invention is shaking up the babycare industry, selling like hotcakes in John Lewis, Mothercare, Tesco, Asda, Kiddicare, Jojo Bebe Maman and Boots. The SnoozeShade's success is not surprising. It's a genuinely innovative and useful invention; the world's first blackout blind for buggies and pushchairs. Sayer has been quick to upscale the venture with a diverse product offering, launching the SnoozeShade for Infant Car Seats, the SnoozeShade Plus and the SnoozeShade Twin. Turnover is set to double year-on-year, and margins in the business stand at 19%.
