Manufacturer of accessories for phones, tablets and laptops

MediaDevil isn't the only company out there doing what it's doing - quite the opposite. There are hundreds of small businesses selling mobile phone covers and other accessories. But MediaDevil has really excelled: it's the best-selling and most positively-reviewed screen protector and touch screen stylus brand on Amazon UK and Amazon Italy.

MediaDevil's most popular screen protector pack took fourth place in Amazon.co.uk's 2011 index of "Most 5 Star Rated Products". To put that into perspective, position 1-3 were Amazon's own Kindle devices, and sixth was Adele's album "21" (the UK's best-selling album of the 21st century). Despite not supplying any re-sellers, MediaDevil sold more than 170,000 screen protector packs in its last financial year, becoming the 3rd best-selling screen protector brand in the UK. Sales are up notably during the current year.

Founder Callum Bush has been named one of Growing Business' 2012 Young Guns and is shortlisted for Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the Growing Business Awards.  The company is the only European member of the 'Built for BlackBerry' accessory programme, and has a phenomenal turnover for its eight-strong team, which has grown significantly from its first year in Bush's bedroom funded with £3,000 of his savings.

A determination to provide excellent service with speedy delivery times has allowed sales to mushroom through word of mouth referrals, and has resulted in MediaDevil winning the Department of Trade & Investment's 2011 Business Innovation Award.  The company has also achieved wins this year in the Startups 100 and at the UKTI's inaugural StartUp Games, and has visited No.10 Downing Street to meet with the PM's senior business advisors.
