We think RedDog Design's handbags are brilliant, as founder and sole employee Marianne Sparrenius-Waters has managed to forge a gap in a saturated market. Her British designed bags are stocked in 110 independent boutiques across the UK, Europe, USA, Canada, New Zealand and Tokyo. This one-person company is turning over £150,000, and generating a healthy profit too.

No man-made materials are used to design the bags; everything about the bag is natural. This ethos plus the success of the bags has seen Sparrenius-Waters win a host of industry awards, including being a finalist in the coveted 2012 Drapers 'Best Designer of the Year'.
