Wazoku
Wazoku is software that helps companies (or more specifically, employees) record, share and implement ideas. "Idea management software" is all the rage in the US, but Wazoku is the first UK company to target small and medium-sized businesses.
So how does it work? A member of your business team has an idea about improving efficiency, solving a business problem, finding new customers or reducing costs. They submit it to the Idea Spotlight platform from any digital device. Colleagues can then comment on the idea and give it a thumbs-up or thumbs-down. Personalised dashboards for each employee mean ideas get in front of the right people in the right department. The best ideas are then sent to a senior team-member to implement.
The company is realising double-digit user and revenue growth every month, and clients include Faber & Faber and Education First. Investors include Huddle co-founder and former Smarta 100 winner Andy McLouglin. The six-person start-up has received a few hundred pounds of investment so far, and is seeking more. And Wazoku is helping SME businesses become more innovative, which is always worth celebrating.
