Community for student and graduate job seekers to discuss careers, employers and interview issues
Truly a site built for the 21st century job-seeker, WikiJob is the UK's largest graduate website with a unique social media element, serving 4.2 million visitors every year. It enables job hunters to connect with each other and with prospective employers. The start-up's client list features giants, including Deutsche Bank, Accenture, KPMG and the Financial Services Authority.
The founders built the business entirely from their own savings and developed everything themselves, from the original inception to the design and later the PR, marketing and sales. The business has grown organically.
Over the last 12 months WikiJob has seen a huge spike in users, going up from 250,000 a month to 500,000. But this is a small business with a big plan. The team has set their sights even higher for the next target and as they head for one million users every month.
Their aim for the next year is simple: to get bigger, fatter and stronger.
