How it works

It’s our motto to KISS: Keep It Simple, Stupid!

If you run a great business, all you need to do is enter it here before midnight on Monday 15th August.

Our crack panel of judges will then get to work and Smarta will announce the full 2011 Smarta 100 on Tuesday 30th August.

It’s back over to you then to vote for the O2 Smarta 100 Business of the Year 2011.

This overall winner will receive a first prize of £10,000.

There are also special awards in six categories:

• Innovation
• Technology
• People
• Resources
• Marketing
• Social impact

Prizes for special awards include: an iPad 2 for the best use of resources category, sponsored by Viking, and £1,000 worth of training by RBS Mentor for the winner of the People Award and mentoring from entrepreneurs Doug Richard, Kanya King and O2’s Simon Devonshire and Sharon Pickford.

All Smarta 100 winners will be our guests at a glitzy awards bash at London’s Indigo2 on Wednesday 21st September where our overall and special awards winners will be announced.
